The following resources help organizations across the United States operate programs that support fathers.
National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC)
The NRFC is an Office of Family Assistance-funded resource available for anyone currently serving or interested in supporting fathers and families.
The NRFC provides resources to support fatherhood professionals with topics that include:
- NRFC Support for Programs—resources to help organizations start and build fatherhood programs, work with a variety of dads, and brief practice- and evidence-based pieces on topics to help programs operate effectively
- NRFC Webinars—recordings of webinars discussing programmatic topics, including working with specific populations, evaluation support, and program implementation tools
The NRFC also supplies resources that organizations can provide fathers to help them get involved in their child’s life, find resources, become a mentor in their community, and more. Find out more on the NRFC For Dads page.
National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI)
NFI transforms organizations and communities by equipping them to intentionally and proactively engage fathers in their children’s lives. NFI is a capacity-building organization that specializes in equipping organizations that serve families with training and resources to offer programs to fathers.
